iPhone 5SE

Coming Soon iPhone 5SE

Sources say that the new iPhone 5SE will look almost exactly like the 5S but with several hardware & software upgrades. This also means that the device will fit into existing iPhone 5S cases.

However, schematics indicate that the power button has been relocated to the side. The edges of the device and the front glass panel are slightly curved, but not as curved as the sides of the iPhone 6 and 6s. Schematics show these curves, but do not show the relocated power switch. They also oddly show a small camera bump.

The 5SE will also have Touch ID👆 support. the new device includes the A9 and M9 chips from the 6S. It can take Live Photos, has an upgraded camera system & an NFC chip for Apple Play. It will also come in a new Rose Gold colour option & will come in 16GB & 64 GB storage options.

Something to look forward for apple fans.

Future Of Data Storage

Photographs, books, CD’s, hard drives all have a shelf life, forcing generations to transfer info from one media carrier to another. Humanity hasn't found the best medium on which data can b stored permanently, until now.

Scientists have created a new data format that encodes info in tiny nanostructures within a glass. A standard 1 inch of this glass disc can hold 360 TB of info for 13.8 bn years even at 190°C.

The method of encryption writes information on nanostructured glass in 5 dimensions. This basically means it writes over different layers of the same sheet of glass. It’s known as five-dimensional data storage and the glass is sometimes referred to as “Superman Memory Crystals,” since they resemble the ones that Clark Kent used in the Superman movies.

Techno Review: India Turning To 4g

India has moved towards the development in network & data transmission speed and thats a good news.

Airtel has launched 4g network in India. And leading companies like idea, vodafone and reliance are ready to participate in the game. By the end of this year most mobile network companies will launch 4g.

4g network offers 10 times more speed than 3g. It might range from 10 mbps to 30 mbps.

However, Airtel 4g is nt tht successful.  Many network issues are detected. Vodafone has launched 4g network in mumbai today. But obviously it won't meet the standards as lots of advancemnet is required for best network coverages.

Another drawback for India is the high rates charged for data services. These rates are very high compared to other countries which have better data services than India.

In short, Mobile Network companies have to work very hard to achieve the development to match up the Developed Countries.

Techno Review:Samsung Galaxy J7

Samsung has launched J series. J7 is highest model of this series.

It has got 1.5 gb ram. Nearly more than 50% of ram is occupied by os and other system apps. This renders user to download more apps. If more apps are downloaded , phone will hang as seen in most of samsung phones.

The phone looks good bt design is mostly similiar to other samsung models. The UI is impressive. It is smooth and user friendly. Bt gallery disappoints when an image is opened as it looks like a lumia phone.

It has got ultra data saving mode (http://akmeman.blogspot.in/2016/02/what-is-samsung-ultra-data-saving-mode.html?m=1).

The camera is good. Both primary and selfie camera give good images.

Overall the phone is good bt the price is a bit high compared to other phones in the race. I will like to give 2.5/5 Techno Review points.

What is Samsung's Ultra Data saving mode ?

Samsung's Ultra Data Saving mode is nothing bt another name of restricting an app's background data. Its jst saves data which is used for push notifications.

Samsung has used this as a marketing strategy to create a rise in sales of its new models and attract the customers who are not familiar with Android's basic features.

Sometimes enabling Ultra Data Saving mode might trouble the users as it render various apps likes whatsapp, facebook or any other important app to send notifications. And the data saved by this feature is not very noteworthy.
